For our office in Funchal Madeira we have assembled a group of works on paper made and acquired in the early 1990s. As long ago as 1995, we acquired ten untitled paperworks by David Austin. The four monoprints by Andrew Bick are from 1996 and the four monotypes by Mark Francis were made between 1992 and 1994. Claude Heath's stencilled drawings, made from his touch experience of plaster casts of sea waves, come from 1997. More recently, following an exhibition of his work in our Funchal office, we purchased four collages by local artist Francisco Clode.

 

This small collection is an exploration of organic form and an interesting take on recent drawing practice.
